Recognizing outstanding female CPAs in Maryland
September 30, 2016
8:30 – 11:45 am
The Women to Watch Awards program highlights the accomplishments of women in the CPA profession and demonstrates to emerging female leaders that success is not out of reach. The awards, established by the AICPA, provide a starting point for the MACPA’s Board-appointed Women’s and Diversity Initiative Task Force to lead important conversations about the issues and resources we can bring to member firms and companies.
Our Keynote Speaker
This year’s awards breakfast features a keynote from Richard J. Caturano, the current Chair of AICPA’s National Commission on Diversity and Inclusion. He served as AICPA’s Chairman from 2012–2013.
Richard is also Partner and National Leader of Culture, Diversity and Inclusion at RSM US LLP.
Nominate a Leader
The Women to Watch Awards are given in two categories: Emerging Leaders and Experienced Leaders.
Women who are up-and-coming stars in their organizations. Women who demonstrate leadership and contribute to the profession through community service and implementation of unique initiatives.
Women who have established their roles as leaders in their organizations by advancing to the highest levels of management or ownership, and by mentoring those following in their footsteps.
