Strategies for Surviving Year End Reporting (brought to you by ADP)

Description

For many employers, the year-end reporting cycle can be quite overwhelming as they prepare for year-end compliance activities such as balancing tax accounts and preparing to distribute Forms W-2. In addition, this year employers have had to react to dynamic regulatory and legislative guidance resulting from COVID-19. Keeping pace with all of these tasks — while remaining compliant — can be daunting.

To help with these efforts for both your firm and your clients, join our tax experts to get critical insights on what’s new and what’s coming next from Washington DC and the states that affect employer responsibilities, including aspects of:

  • – COVID-19 related legislation
  • – Unemployment insurance
  • – New tax credits
  • – New paid leave mandates
  • – State health coverage reporting
  • – W-2 reporting and other changes to payroll

Speaker bios:

Pete is ADP’s VP of Government Relations and has been at the helm of analyzing the changing tax legislation, interviewed by Bloomberg, CNBC, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, NPR and other national news outlets to provide guidance to U.S. businesses during this time of uncertainty.

Pete is responsible for managing legislative and regulatory affairs, covering a variety of employer compliance matters including employment tax payments and major legislative trends such as the Affordable Care Act, Tax Reform, and the FFCRA. He has over 30 years of experience working with state legislatures and Congress, as well as the IRS and state agencies, workforce development, child support enforcement, and municipal tax authorities.

Tom Crowley, Charles Collins and John Myett have a combined 90 years of experience collaborating with government agencies and will offer varying layers of expertise in compliance, policy and reporting.
