Our guest speaker this month is Bob Lewis, President of The Visionary Group.  Mr. Lewis will discuss Managing Capacity Needs Beyond Outsourcing.  Capacity in an CPA or accounting firm is a firm’s ability to process current work and handle new clients while trying to have a balanced work life. While outsourcing or offshoring is the most thought of solution, what else can a firm do? This session will dive into what has created this capacity problem and how a firm can break down existing capacity barriers. The Visionary Group will discuss options firms of any size can use, including the impact of compression, value pricing, client analysis, adding advisory services, and how to still add new clients when capacity is already stretched. How do you retain and attract staff? Did you try outsourcing and it failed? Not sure how to set up offshoring or how to discuss it with your clients? We will touch on this as well. Participants will walk away with the ability to create a capacity expansion plan that is unique to their firm’s needs.
