Updated research from the Profession says that the business environment for CPAs and their clients will be characterized by “unprecedented, massive and highly accelerated change” through 2025. The secret to thriving in this rapidly changing world is to learn how to ride these ‘big waves’ of change and to move from being a crisis manager to an opportunity manager, that is what we mean by being ‘future ready’. The latest updates in regulations, standards and the legislature in Maryland will be covered in addition to the technology and demographic changes that are together causing these big waves. At the end of the session participants will leave with a set actionable steps to elevate and accelerate their personal career plan.
