First, a review of blockchain and cryptocurrency updates – both from an accounting and regulatory perspective will be provided, with an emphasis of changes that directly impact organizations and the accounting professionals employed therein.. Second, examples of applications and examples of blockchain being used by firms, both in the accounting space and other areas, will be provided and examined, including partnerships between organizations and blockchain technology firms. Third, and lastly, free resources will be provided to help attendees learn more and stay well informed on blockchain and cryptocurrency issues.
