The MACPA plays a key role in protecting the interests of CPAs throughout Maryland. This requires that we address legal and statutory issues in Annapolis and Washington D.C. Members can expect the MACPA to seek to have the most favorable laws in
place for the success of CPAs. The MACPA also keeps you informed of state and federal legislation that affects the profession.
For our legislative efforts to succeed, we need the voice and participation of our members. Our biggest opportunity for member involvement in legislative advocacy is our annual CPA Day in Annapolis.
