I was amazed at what a group of our new/young professionals came up with during one of our strategic planning sessions. Three major issues surfaced:
The need for support from their employers to particpate in their profession.
The squeeze: This group feels pinched between the older generation of partners / bosses and the new generation just entering the workforce. This was a major “ah-ha” for me!
The need for leadership training, mentoring and career development activities. Yes, they want to move up in your organization.
