Participants will be actively engaged in dialog throughout the workshop and will be making presentations of their insights and action plans throughout the three days. Consistent with BLI’s approach to learning we will support the learning with active dialog and graphic facilitation techniques. Each young leader will leave with a set of tangible tools that they can use in their own organizations and as future volunteer leaders.

Tom is the founding CEO of The Business Learning Institute and co-developer of Leadership Academy. A nationally recognized author, speaker, and consultant, Tom is committed to helping individuals and companies shape their future. Tom has been recognized by Accounting Today Magazine as the second most influential leader in the CPA profession.
Rebekah Brown is a CPA who is passionate about the bright future of the accounting profession. As part of her role at the Maryland Association of CPAs and the Business Learning Institute, Rebekah frequently presents to groups both locally and nationally on the future of the profession. Rebekah has guided firms, non-profits and accounting professionals in the United States and Canada in the strategic planning process. In 2017 Rebekah was named one of the “20 Under 40 Superstars Who are Helping to Advance the Accounting Profession” by CPA Practice Advisor.
Bill Sheridan is a knowledge hunter, content curator, lifelong learner, and EOS implementer. As chief communications officer for the Maryland Association of CPAs, he created and co-authors the association’s acclaimed blog; produces the “Future-Proof” podcast; and manages the association’s member communications and numerous social networks. As an EOS implementer, Bill helps leaders get what they want from their businesses. Bill speaks regularly at national conferences on the future of the accounting and finance profession, the strategic uses of social media, and the evolution of communication, collaboration and education. He delivers frequent presentations on behalf of the Business Learning Institute and is a BLI strategic facilitator.
