2018 MACPA
Women to Watch Awards

The AICPA’s Women’s Initiatives Executive Committee (WIEC) initiated the Women to Watch Award Program in 2005 in partnership with several state CPA societies to honor outstanding women in the profession. The Women to Watch awards highlight the accomplishments of women in the profession, and demonstrate to emerging female leaders that success is not out of reach. The event provides a forum for state CPA societies to lead important conversations about issues their female members face.

To complete your nomination, please fill out the form and provide supporting evidence of your contributions to our profession and your community. Documentation should include a letter describing why the nominee should be considered. In addition, a résumé and letters of support are not required, but strongly recommended. Please also provide a recent headshot.

Emerging Leaders
Emerging Leaders are women who are up-and-coming stars in their organizations. Women who demonstrate leadership and contribute to the profession through community service and implementation of unique initiatives.

Experienced Leaders
Experienced Leaders are women who have established their roles as leaders in their organizations by advancing to the highest levels of management or ownership, and by mentoring those following in their footsteps.

Winners will be selected by a special task force of MACPA’s Board of Directors and recognized at the Women to Watch Award event on September 21, 2018.

All nominations are due by July 15. All supporting documents are due by August 15. All nominees must be a Certified Public Accountant and a member of MACPA and AICPA.

Thank you for your nomination. We encourage firms and organizations who have nominated an individual to consider sponsoring the event as well. Please see sponsorship levels here.
