Reopening the State of Maryland

As our local government continues to monitor COVID-19 cases in Maryland, conversations have begun around reopening the state. The MACPA is tracking official announcements from state and local authorities.

Regulatory Updates

Things are changing on an hour-by-hour basis, and we’re monitoring all of it. The MACPA is tracking official announcements from federal, state, and local authorities related to tax, licensure, business continuity / recovery, insurance, human resources, and more.

MACPA Conference and Event Status

All MACPA learning will continue to be online until the fall.  We will begin to offer in-person events (with some online options) beginning in September.

We are taking precautions to ensure your safety while at our MACPA office for events.  This includes:

  • Socially-distanced seating
  • Hand sanitizer stations
  • Individual lunches with indoor and outdoor seating options
  • Mask-wearing requirement

During our events, we will keep your safety in mind and continue to follow the guidelines as set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevent (CDC) and the Maryland Dept. of Health.

For your consideration, here are the CDC guidelines on returning to work.
