Robert P. Brennan is currently a Director at CBIZ Accounting, Tax & Advisory, Inc. He specializes in litigation support services. He is an Adjunct Professor at Philadelphia University teaching Business Fraud in their MBA program. He is also currently an Adjunct Professor at Strayer University, teaching Accounting and Tax courses. He has been on the faculty of Ursinus College, and Penn State University. Mr. Brennan has lectured on Business Fraud Topics, specifically on how to detect and help prevent fraud.
Mr. Brennan is also a former Internal Revenue Agent with over 32 years of experience in dealing with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). As an agent, he was responsible for the examination of individual, corporate and partnership returns. He has been qualified, and has testified as an expert summary witness both for the government and the defense in criminal tax cases brought by the government. Also, as a revenue agent, he specialized in Income Reconstruction cases and authored Internal Revenue Manual sections dealing with reconstructing income where no books or records exist. After leaving the IRS, his expertise is dealing with the IRS in civil and criminal tax matters. These include civil examinations, collections matters, and criminal investigations.
