Instructor Biography

Parry Ankersen

Parry Ankersen has nearly 25 years experience in public accounting. He has worked with two multi-national firms, Coopers & Lybrand and Price Waterhouse. At Price Waterhouse, he was Director of Governmental and Not-For-Profit Auditing and Accounting for the Pacific Northwest Region, as well as a small-business audit manager. In 1990, Mr. Ankersen established his own firm specializing in auditing, accounting, consulting, and education. He has since merged his practice with Pauly, Rogers and Co., P.C., and concentrates on accounting and auditing matters. Mr. Ankersen has been a Director and officer of the Oregon Society of CPA's, is a member and former chairman of the Governmental Auditing and Accounting Committee, is a member of the Not-For-Profit Committee, and is chair of the By-laws Committee. Mr. Ankersen is committed to quality in the accounting profession through his active practice in Peer Reviews, and previously served as one of the technical reviewers for the OSCPA Peer Review Program. Additionally, he provides regular technical advise to several practitioners
