T. Scott Basik, P.A., is a tax practitioner in Baltimore, where he concentrates his practice in Maryland tax matters. He was an assistant attorney general for Maryland from 1980-83, when he represented the Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation.
Mr. Basik is past chair of the State Tax Study Group of the Tax Section of the Maryland State Bar Association, Inc. He is a frequent speaker on Maryland tax matters and an author of publications on the subject, including the Maryland chapter in the "ABA Sales and Use Tax" publication.
Mr. Basik received his J.D. degree cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law and his L.L.M. degree in taxation from Georgetown University.
