Mr. Arnie began as an internal auditor with the Income Tax Division in 1970. He held various administrative positions including manager of the Administration Section with responsibility for personnel, procurement, facilities management, etc.
In September 1986 he was appointed Assistant Director-Administration of the former Income Tax Division. He held that same title when the Comptroller's Office reorganized in July of 1993 and the Revenue Administration Division replaced the Income Tax Division.
He was appointed Director of the Revenue Administration Division of July 1, 1997 and now has over 30 Years' experience with the Comptroller's Office.
Mr. Arnie received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Baltimore in 1968 and is a member of the Maryland Public Finance Officers Association.
He resides in Piney Orchard with his wife and family.
