This course will help you understand how to analyze the risks that may befall innovation and learning initiatives by drilling down through the 200 + pages of generic COSO guidance to focus on the following five step approach: Internal Environment, Event Identification, Risk Assessment, Risk Response, Control Activities

Objectives:

  • To learn how to manage risk by applying the integrated framework of enterprise risk management to innovation and learning initiatives

  • The COSO framework
  •  Relevant characteristics of innovation and learning initiatives
  • Techniques for applying the framework to such initiatives
