City non-profit seeks CPA board member

The International Book Bank, a non-profit based in Baltimore, is looking for a CPA to join its board. The Book Bank ships donated books and other educational materials to literacy programs in developing countries all over the world. The Book Bank outsources bookkeeping and 990 preparation, while paid staff does the annual budget. A CPA is needed to provide oversight and expertise to the Board of Directors. The time commitment is 3 meetings per year, plus occasional additional time on a committee in support of programs, outreach, or fundraising. The position would begin in June 2008.
