Town hall / Annual Meeting resources

Want 8 hours of free CPE that only MACPA members can get? Townhalls are the answer!

Please note: Only members who have already renewed their membership may attend for free. All others pay $150. RENEW TODAY!

Each update is worth 4 hours of CPE. Attend two updates — one in the spring and one in the fall —  and your MACPA dues pay for themselves!

NOTE: State Boards will not recognize duplicate content for CPE credit. You will receive credit for only one spring Town Hall and one fall Town Hall.

The profession is changing so rapidly that you have asked us to do this twice a year. Look for spring and fall editions of our professional issues update to stay on top of your profession.

MACPA Executive Director Tom Hood, who facilitates the meetings, references a number of publications, Web sites, presentations and other resources during the meetings.

Links to these resources are found below, organized by the CPA profession's "Five Ps" -- (1) professional legislation and regulation, (2) the "pipeline" of talent into the profession, (3) public / professional accountability, (4) private company standards, and (5) performance.
