Self Study CPE

New State Board of Accountancy CPE regulations for CPAs, including self-study

The new State Board of Accountancy CPE regulations for CPAs includes a major change for self-study, which could be described as “CPE = CPE”.    This provision removes the distinction and limitations formerly imposed on interactive and self-study programs, making them equal to group study (classroom). This has the effect of counting them as equal and subject to the 76-hour carryover.
