Maryland unemployment insurance rate notices now available

BALTIMORE, Jan. 10, 2006 — The 2006 Maryland unemployment insurance experience rate notices are now available to employers.

Employers can find access their rate notices by visiting www.mdunemployment.com and clicking "WebTax" under "Employer Information."

Employers who have already enrolled in WebTax can download a copy of their 2006 experience rate notices by providing their UI employer account number and PIN.

If employers have not yet enrolled in WebTax, they can do so by clicking on the "Enroll Me Now" button, providing their UI account number and federal employer identification number, then selecting a PIN. This will give them immediate access to their rating notices.

The online version of the rate notice is a duplicate of the form that was to be mailed to employers on Jan. 18, 2006.
